Join us for a day of service in the community with our friends at TreePeople as we help plant trees in South LA.
Why plant trees? Because shade is not distributed equally. In many cities, poor and working-class BIPOC neighborhoods have far fewer trees—part of a broader pattern of resource inequity that also affects access to healthy food, transportation, and clean air. You can learn more about this issue at treeequityscore.org.
Come lend your hands, meet your neighbors, and be part of a service-minded community supporting the vital work of conservation, urban forestry, post-fire ecosystem restoration, and shade equity. 🌳
