Join us for an afternoon of service, community, and collective care as we assemble essential toiletry kits for women served by the Downtown Women's Center (DWC).

We'll gather at Coldwater Canyon Park to prepare and package kits while enjoying music, snacks, and good company. Whether you're new to community service or a longtime volunteer, this is a meaningful way to connect with others while supporting women experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Los Angeles.

Street parking is readily available along Coldwater Canyon.

This event is an opportunity to practice karma yoga—the yoga of selfless service and compassionate action—while spending time in community. Come lend a hand, meet new people, and help make a tangible difference.

Please bring:

• A blanket or chair for sitting

• Water bottle

• Any additional snacks you'd like to share

Light snacks and alcohol-free beverages will be provided (but feel free to bring some of your own to share)!

This is an all-ages, family-friendly, and pet-friendly event.

• About the Downtown Women's Center

The Downtown Women's Center provides critical services and support to women experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity throughout Los Angeles. Toiletry kits are one of the Center's most consistently needed resources, helping ensure women have access to basic hygiene and wellness essentials.

• Can't Attend? You Can Still Help.

We're raising approximately $350–$450 to purchase supplies for 20 toiletry kits, which will be delivered directly to DWC following the event.

Packaging
All kits will be assembled in gallon-size zip bags provided by Kupala Yoga.

We'll provide materials for anyone who would like to include a handwritten note or decorate kit packaging with messages of support and encouragement.
